Win tickets to DJ Krush’s first London performance in two years
Adam Tiran

On Saturday March 19th, Electric Brixton will play host to an extra special performance from Japanese hip hop legend DJ Krush. A formidable turntablist and prolific producer, Krush has been flying the flag for suave instrumental breaks and cosmic trip hop for over 20 years, largely through his affiliation to foundational labels Mo’Wax and Shadow Records. His influence on some of electronic music’s most important beat makers and tastemakers is constantly cited as worthy praise to the longstanding career of the Tokyo based producer, who is now in his 50s.

The show marks Krush’s first London appearance in two years and comes amidst a revival of the atmospheric spectrum of hip hop, with trap, dream rap and PBR&B all enjoying continued prominence in 2016. His appearance takes place as part of a series of blockbuster events from promoters Soundcrash, taking place across London over the Spring.

Support comes from Mo’Wax affiliate band Attica Blues and California’s Free The Robots.

And we have 2x tickets to giveaway to one lucky reader.
