Premiere: The Mechanical Man – Attrazioni
Adam Tiran

Taking his name from the 1921 Italian robot movie of the same name, The Mechanical Man is the newest addition to the Tuscany based Bosconi Records stable, having just released a mini LP of retro-inspired house grooves entitled ‘Mechanical Soul’. That LP features the cluttered chugging rhythm of ‘Attrazioni’, a light-hearted percussive piece complete with pots and pans and playful, even coy keys that evoke a childlike innocence.

Founded by Fabio Della Torre, Bosconi’s varied output has consisted mostly of oddball house and broken excursions through electronica over the years seen – with solid releases from artists as divergent as Chicago’s Ricardo Miranda and Manchester’s A Guy Called Gerald.

Mechanical Soul is out on Bosconi Records on Dec 4th.
