Adding to an already impressive roster of heavy-hitters that ranges from Theo Parrish, Anthony Shake Shakir and Steven Tang, Paris based record store, distributor and label Syncrophone now welcomes Finnish duo Shuffless to the family. Their live improvisational production techniques are the backbone of their latest EP Uusmood, a release synonymous with the French imprint’s passion for distributing originality.

The guys recorded the four-track EP in their studio in the depths of the Finnish forests – an inspirational environment that seeps through especially in the moody title track.

Whilst having a distinctive nature-like quality to it, it simultaneously showcases flashes of urban influence. The prolonged synth chords lay like blankets of mist over a punchy house bassline loop, toying with feelings of woodland rave and warehouse techno.
