Blank Tracks is a compilation series of under the radar German dancefloor gems from Heidelberg collective, club night and label Paint It Blank, and in the past it’s been home to guys like Essáy, ManooZ and David Jackson.

At the end of this month they’ll be releasing the fourth installation, spanning icy techno, MIDI jams and disco bangers, but without a doubt the most upfront of the 12 tracks on offer is this slice of pumping lo-fi house from Turk Turkelton, whose lascivious splicing here seems to match that of his screen namesake.

Lifting a fabulous sample from Finis Henderson‘s 1983 Motown shmoozer ‘Skip To My Lou’ to glorious effect, the result is an absolute stomper that could turn your Christmas disco dance upside down.
