For our first podcast of 2015, we’re very excited to welcome into the fold one of the rising stars of the South African deep house scene, KOJO AKUSA.

With a slew of releases spanning the last 4 years on respected underground labels like Peng Africa, Abicah Soul Recordings and his own Beat Rebelz imprint, Kojo has been steadily carving out a name for himself with the 4×4-infatuated youth from his hometown Polokwane, and all the way to Johannesburg.

Featuring familiar tracks from Kink and Charles Webster, to the lesser known Jobez and Atjazz-affiliated newcomer Jazuelle, alongside a bunch of Kojo’s own productions, this one goes deep.
