Introducing a brand-new label and artist… although someone who’s into making educated guesses might reckon it’s a new alias for an established name (answers on a postcard, and tin hats at the ready, please). Such is the distinguished nature of Zodiac Childs‘ debut on vinyl-only imprint Zodiac Wax.

Whilst most in 2017 have taken it upon themselves to reappropriate UK breakbeat and hardcore with a few amen fills, ‘Basic Process’ casts its gaze upwards and beyond. An intergalactic sound that truly could have seen the light of day in the early nineties, whilst remaining just about as forward-thinking as it comes.
