UE.29: Kruse & Nuernberg

UE.29: Kruse & Nuernberg
Jack Smith

Florian Kruse and Nils Nuernberg – otherwise known as Kruse & Nuernberg – are the dapper German duo making waves across the European club circuit over the last few years with a series of slick releases on some of the continent’s finest imprints.

Offering up a brace of EPs for Berlin label OFF Recordings, providing a stunning remix of Dennis Ferrer‘s ‘Dem People Go’ on NY’s King Street Sounds back in 2010, and now with a track forthcoming on another Berlin-based heavyweight Exploited this dynamic pair are reaching dizzy heights in terms of creative output and touring schedule.

Their breed of cinematic deep and progressive house is aimed firmly at the dancefloor, complete with big brooding basslines and woozy melodies that have seen them become regulars at everywhere from Ushuaia to Weekend.

Just before their set at Electronic Love in Cologne this weekend, we managed to lock the boys in for this month’s extra special guest mix. Delivering just over an hour’s worth of sophisticated club-ready grooves, they give us a glimpse into the smooth and sexy vibes they’ve been constructing in their sets around the world this summer. Perfect for your weekend warmup.
