South African afrotronical kwaito-house producer, Jumping Back Slash, has been on fire so far this year with his output. Now widely known for his extensive remix back catalogue, JBS has already released a slew of remixes and bootlegs this year that have indicated a whole heap of new influences and displayed a maturity in his productions that only comes from a determined persistence to the craft. Following on from his first self-released EP that featured the Frankie Knuckles-esque Holding On, JBS takes a smoother route this time with a trio of dreamy, percussion-heavy Afro-house cuts that ooze soul throughout.
